Each spring, RDT’s MoCo performs a showcase of original modern choreography entitled Straight from the Heart. The event promotes the artistry of Modern dance, highlights the work of our Modern Company and promotes Company membership. It is a collection of vibrant works from Modern Company Director Lindsay Giedl, Assistant Director Jeffery Duffy, fellow studio choreographers, and MoCo company dancers.

Straight from the Heart is a captivating collection of pieces with a wide range of intensity, duration, emotions, and creative expression. Dancers ranging in age from 10-18 perform in large group numbers, small group ensembles, and solo choreographies.
